Be the Best that You Can Be

Hatha Yoga (Yogasanas):

Hatha (or Hata) Yoga stems from a deep understanding of the mechanics of the body, and uses yogic postures, or "yogasanas" (the word "asana" means a posture), to enable the system to sustain higher dimensions of energy. Isha Hatha Yoga teachers impart this in its full depth and dimension, not just as a physical exercise, but enabling a person in the most fundamental way, to flower into his ultimate potential.

It is Sadhguru's vision to revive this ancient science in all its purity and make it available to every individual.

The Gurus tell us that there are basically 84 recognised "Yogasanas".  Today, around 600 variations on these are taught around the world.  From these, Sadhguru has created a sequence of Yogasanas that, performed together correctly, will benefit you holistically: aligning your body, mind, energy and spirit.

Essentially,  once  we  use  the  word “yoga”  attached  to anything,  it indicates  in the  tradition  that  it  is  a complete path by itself. “Hatha” has the word  “yoga” attached  to  it because Hatha Yoga is a complete path by itself.

Hatha  Yoga  is  about  creating  a  body  which  is  not  a  hurdle  in  one’s  life.  The  body becomes  a  stepping  stone—not  a  hurdle,  not  a  roadblock—in  one’s  progress  of blossoming into their ultimate possibility. "
